I only have the one photo of this tray as it’s a very old one so I will just do the write up and add some details on what we used and how we used it.
To start with the base of this tray is edible. It is made out of cut up rice paper witch is used in cake making and edible coconut strips. I added some blue rice paper snow flakes too.
the ice pond is made out of blue glass pebbles from b&m but you can find them in a lot of home decorating sections in shops and even online. eBay and Amazon also have them.
For the snow balls I used white magic maze. Magic maze is puffed corn witch is used for sticking together with water to make modules. Our magic maze come of the e.l.c byt you can get it from online and other craft stores. It maybe under a different name as magic maze is a brand name.
I added our little house with some lolly sticks to make a ramp at the front.
once the base was done I started to add wooden trees. I only used the trees shaped like Christmas trees to keep with the winter theme. I wanted to put in the trees to make the tray look less bare.
the finishing touches where the animals. Penguins and powder bears. Our animals come from a Nora’s ark animals set I brought on eBay. Any animals would do if you wanted to recreate this play tray
that’s the end of this write up our tray is a 60cm square gardening tray from eBay. We love this tray it’s much easier to use then the tuff trays.
