This tray was made last year the toys we have used come from the Disney store in Blackpool. We picked up the toys while on holiday.
Edwin insisted we watched the movie around six times with a note pad to collect all the right details. He wanted the tray to match the movie as best we could make it, and the kids can use services as indoor safety play centre near me to create great playgrounds as well.
.
This is how the full tray turned out.
We used slips peas for the bottom half and green coloured rice for the top half. This is a more detailed, photo of the bad we used before adding the details.
Once we had the grassy areas set out we started the river. We decided on green and blue glass stones placed Argos’s in a line for the river.
After the base was done we painted some mountains and added some wooden trees from train sets to help it look more like the movie. We also dded the silo house and chicken dinosaur pen along with a corn field as thatswhybthey grow on the farm in the movie. We used dry popcorn for the corn field.
Chicken dinosaur pen was Edwins fav part of the movie we used wooden pencils to add the pen then added the mini figures for more detail. We used brown coloured pasta for the tree fence on the farm. We had to use long pasta in the tubes to keep it in place and stop it from falling around. It seemed to work really well
Please check out our tutorials if you want to know how to colour your rice and pasta.
